104 N. Aurora Street
This four-story historic property, which sits at the south gateway to the City went through an extensive overhaul in 2014 after a tractor trailer struck the front of the building. Turning a huge negative into a positive the owners dedicated themselves to restoring the property to its former historical beauty. An architect-designed renovation reshaped what had originally been a mixed-use of apartments and office space on the upper three floors into five beautiful apartments. The natural spaciousness and natural light of the units due to their large windows and high ceiling heights was accentuated by the owner’s careful choices for fixtures and finishes.
407 Green Street
This house had been owner-occupied for over years by the same family. It had, unfortunately, had fallen into very bad disrepair and when the owner of the neighboring house had the opportunity to buy the property from the estate, they made the decision to do an extensive overhaul. The building was given a new roof and new windows. A new entrance porch was built and a rear deck was added. The interior was gutted and a newly designed kitchen was installed in addition to two new bathrooms and a laundry room. A complete paint job of both the interior and exterior turned this tired old ‘diamond in the rough’ into a wonderful addition to this neighborhood.
Graham Road
The original garage structure was a small, unattached single-car garage with a gravel floor. The opening was only 7’ high and there was virtually no storage. The new owner of the property needed room for two vehicles and much more storage space. The newly constructed garage was 20’ wide and 23’ deep, on a newly poured concrete floor. A workbench and shelf storage were built in the rear. Great care was taken to have the building appearance and size fit with the home.
